Britannia Neighbours

Britannia Neighbours is a volunteer organization in the Commercial Drive area of East Vancouver. We undertake projects that help to make Grandview-Woodlands, already the most interesting neighbourhood in the city, greener and friendlier and more welcoming. Among our projects are Mosaic Creek Park and the development and maintenance of the Napier Square Greenway at the entrance to the Britannia Community Services Centre.

If you'd like to get in touch with us, e-mail us at info@britannianeighbours.org or phone the Centre at 604-718-5800 and leave a message for Britannia Neighbours.

We meet about once a month and we always welcome new members/neighbours!

We really only have this Web site so you can find us with Google. We do all our online communicating via e-mail and in our blogs! Here's our main Britannia Neighbours blog:

The Britannia Neighbours' East Vancouver Tour of Private Gardens

One of our Britannia Neighbours' projects is the East Vancouver Tour of Private Gardens. Every year in June a dozen or so generous and accomplished East Side Vancouver gardeners open their gates and allow people to have a look at their gardens and ask questions. Tickets for the self-conducted tours are $10 per person and are available at Figaro's Garden (1896 Victoria) or at the Britannia Community Services Centre (1661 Napier). Also, for the tour, please get in touch with us to volunteer or to suggest a garden for next year's tour.

Here's our blog for the garden tour:
